Inclusive Leaders Pathway (ILP)
The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan is dedicated to developing inclusive, human-centered leaders who empower others, strengthen organizations, and drive positive change. The Inclusive Leaders Pathway (ILP) supports this mission by providing students with a structured developmental journey that emphasizes
self-awareness
empathy
and leadership-grounded in relationships
Through the ILP, students cultivate the skills to lead across diverse cultural and organizational contexts. The program fosters meaningful connections, encourages curiosity and respect for different perspectives, and prepares students to collaborate effectively in today’s dynamic, global business environment.
The ILP is centered on reinforcing the OCCB’s learning competencies: human-centered practice; compassion and empathy; and global & intercultural perspectives.
Together, these competencies enable students to lead in ways that promote positive organizational cultures and enhance creativity, resilience, and well-being at both the individual and collective levels.
